AsiaFI Technical Groups(WG, BoF, Mailing List Group) - proposal

1. Working Group(WG)

    Working Group(WG) is the major technical group at AsiaFI with the following;
         - Organize workshops regularly; once a year in principle
         - Have WG meeting regularly; 1~2 times a year
         - Send the member to Steering Group 
         - Chair and Co-Chairs to manage the WG
         - Need to be approved by Board with WG Charter

    Remark:  the current WGs include Architecture WG and Testbed WG.

2. Bird of Feather(BoF)

    BoF is the next technical group withe the following;
         - Organize workshops irregularly.
         - Have BoF meeting irreggularly.
         - Coordinator and Co-Coordinators to manage the BoF
         - Need to be approved by Steering Group with BoF Charter

     Remark:  the current BoFs include Mobile BoF, Named Data Networking BoF, and Recursive Network BoF.

3. Mailing List Group

    Mailing List Group is the entry-level group with the following;
         - Discussion over the mailing list
         - Mailing list contacts to administer the mailing list as appropriate.
         - May organize face-to-face meeting optionally
         - Need 3 members with one or more contact persons to form the mailing list group.

    Remark:  The current Mailing List Groups include Education, and Network Science

Remark:  AsiaFI School is the primary event of AsiaFI.  It is held once or twice a year.
               It is organized by School Committee with 2~5 day program.  There will be
               co-located AsiaFI meetings(Board, Steering Group, Committee, Technical Group,..)
               as well as optional workshops organized by AsiaFI and others.
