1. Board/Committee/WG Updates
- Board
  - Submit proposal to board members, and ask board members to encourage more people to attend ASIAFI and convince 
goverment to give more support to ASIAFI. (dlee)
- Architecture WG
  - current chair's term will expire in 2010.8.
  - Architecture WG should define the research question first and give research agenda. (Lixia)
- Mobile WG
  - Mobile (school) committee has organized 2010 winter school and workshop during ACM Mobicom Conference last year.
  - The current chair's term will expire next month. The next chair election shall be carried out by 2010.3.
- Testbed Committee
  - No permenant chair has been elected yet.
2. Some current problems on ASIAFI management
- Some steering group members are not active in attending meeting on site or remotely. (chon)
- WG chair is supposed to be school chair. However, 2009 summer school and 2010 winter school is not operated under working 
group. (Chon)
- Currently no success case on WG management yet. (Chon)
3. Future AsiaFI schools- Review
3.1 Schedule
- 2011 Winter school in Hongkong
  - Approved the proposal with the revised proposal is due in August 2010, and the progress reports for April and June 
Steering Group Meetings.
  - Checked with APAN(dykim), which proposed to AsiaFI on the joint testbed workshop during Hong Kong Meeting in February 
2011.2.24 or 25 whereas AsiaFI School will be in 2011.2.22-23. (chon)
  - As for the program, we shoud stick to the things we can do best, FI. (Chon)
- Future school in 2012 and beyond
  - Check with China, Japan and Korea to see whether they are willing to host future ASIA FI schools.
  - Check with Hewu Li about the possible AsiaFI mobile workshop during ACM MobiCom in 2010 and beyond. 
3.2 longer(summer) and shorter(winter) schools
- Agreed to decide this longer school idea during summber school this year.
3.3 School Themes vs WGs
- Confirmed to use the terms, "Summer School" and "Winter School" with optional themes. School is possible to have 
its own subtopic, for example mobile and wireless. But these two themes should be detached.
4. Finance
- Agreed to terminate "Interim Finance Director". Asked Secretariat Director to handle the finance including the report on 
the 2009, and the plan for 2010.
5. Future steering group meeting schedule
- 2010.4.21 2:00-4:00 pm (China/Malaysia times) 3:00-5:00 pm (Japan/Korea times)
- 2010.6.16 7:00-8:30 pm (China/Malaysia times) 9:00-10:30 pm (Japan/Korea times) 
6. Election
6.1 Mobile WG

  - Secretariat Director and Deputy Directors for 2010-2012 shall be selected in 2010Q2~Q3 during Steering Group Meeting 
after the assessment of the current arrangement.

  - Chair shall be elected during 2010 Summer School.

7.2 2011 winter school review
- Four possible topics for program

  - Identifiers in Future Internet 
  - Technologies for the operation in covergence network 
  - CDN network
- Program committee
  - Invite APRICOT program committee members to join and/or liaise
- Airfare support for students
  - To be decided in summer school later
- Schedule
  - Before 2010 summer school, it has to be decided whether this school is only workshop or not.
