1. The steering group chair Kilnam Chon and secretariat director Jun Bi 
reported the plan in 2010-2011, including 2010/2011 schools, planed workshops.

2. Kilnam Chon and Jun Bi reported the AsiaFI activities in the past half year:
(1)Architecture/Building Blocks WG and Mobile/Wireless WG organized the AsiaFI 2009
summer school, 2010 winter school, and workshops.
(2)Testbed Committee: unless find a permanent chair, it will focus on information 
exchange in related workshops. 

3 Research Activity
Currently AsiaFI runs good at research information exchange by organizing workshops, schools,
 and AsiaFI mailing-list. The AsiaFI board agrees to go further in long term to coordinate research 
activities on specific topics. The board assigned Kenjiro Cho to compose a 1-page position paper
 on this topic.

4. Discussion on Future AsiaFI schools
The board agrees to have the scheme of a longer summer schools (~5 days) in 2011 and beyond 
with shorter school (2 days) in winters. The summer schools will have extended long presentations
 on specific topics for students, including research background and latest research results.
    
5. Finance
The AsiaFI interim finance director CS Hong reported the current finance scheme and proposes. 
The board agrees AsiaFI to raise a stable regular reserve (starting amount is 10K$ by donations) 
so that the steering group can operate AsiaFI activities in addition to receiving school/workshop
 ownership from MoUed institution.

6 External Collaboration
The board reviewed the MoU status and encourage Japanese institutions to complete MoU procedure faster.
The coordination between AsiaFI and APAN is also discussed.
