1 The steering group discussed meeting frequency of 2011 and beyond.
  Prof. Chon proposed to consdier to meet every 3 months (2011.2, 2011.5, 2011.8, 2011.11) so that members
will be no excuse to be absent. Four members who be absent today, M. Xu, X. Huang, Y.Okabe, A. Kato, please
let us know your idea. If we change, then the secretariat must be functional in the interim period.
The final conclusion will be drawn in 2011 Feb HK meeting.
 
2 The steering group then reviewed future AsiaFI schools/workshops. Prof. Dongman Lee reported preparation of
2011 summer school. The steering group suggests a scheme like: 1st day NetSci workshop, 2nd day introduction of FI,
3rd and 4th days main program including student sessions, 5th day FI Arch workshop. The AsiaFI meetings such as
board/steering group meetings should be also considered. Dongman Lee and CS Hong are asked to deliver the finance
plan ASAP.
    
3 Steering group is OK with 2011 winter workshop program (which is suggested to be announced to mailing list soon),
but requires a complete report on preparation of all asiafi meetings, especially the polycom preparation for
board meeting and steering group meeting.
 
4 For 2012 winter school, some questions from K. Chon will be answered in Jan 2011 and school proposal will be delivered
before 2011 Feb HK meeting.
 
5 For 2012 summer school, J Bi will ask Prof. Okabe and Okamura about which university will host it first.
 
6. There is no activities in Board.
 
7 F. Teraoka, the chair of arch WG, reported 2011 FI arch workshop proposal. It is going to be a paper presentation
only workshop and it is planed to have some papers be recommended to IEICE trans after the workshop.
 
8 There is no report from testbed WG, nor proposal of testbed workshop, which is planed to be on June 15 co-located with CFI 2011.
The testbed WG needs to work on a proposal and deliver it ASAP.
 
9 Nakjung Choi is one of the candidates of mobile BoF coordinator, and we may need the 2nd coordinator. This will be discussed in 2011 Feb HK meeting.
     
10 J. Bi reported a discussion during IETF meeting in Beijing about NDN BoF meeting in 2011 Feb HK.
 
11 There is no progress in Recursive Network BOF, a BOF meeting will be held in 2011 Feb HK.
 
12 Prof. Chon is the contact person of NetSci MG, and a half day workshop is organized by S. Moon during 2011 summer school.
 
13 The new committee scheme failed completely because members failed to send proposals. The Steering group then decided to try the 2nd
scheme: for each task to have one person to be in charge: school- Bi, accounting- Hong, advisory- Xu, Young Researcher- Bjorn Liu.
For each task, a mail-list will be created.
 
14 The steering group discussed and agreed Prof. Chon's memo on AsiaFI groups. Jun Bi will deliver a formal procedure on how to terminate a MG and will be discussed in HK.   
 
15 The next acting chair for 2011.5-2011.8 will be nominated by J Bi, D. Lee, and CS Hong.
