Prof. Andrei Gurtov is a principal scientist andഀ head of Networking Research Group at HIIT, Adjunct Professor (Dosentti),ഀ in TML and TKK. He's also a co-chair of IRTF research group on HIP.

His research interests include Host Identityഀ Protocol, P2PSIP, Scalability and routing in overlay networks (i3,ഀ Chord), Game theoretic modeling, Internet architecture and Transportഀ protocols. 1992 to 1994, he served (full-time) in Korea army. He received his Ph.D. degreeഀ
from the Department of Electrical Engineering-Systems at University of Southernഀ
California in 1999. From 2000 to 2005, he was an Assistant Professor/Vice Deanഀ
of Admission Affairs at Hongik University, Seoul, Korea. Since February, 2005,ഀ

Prof. Kilnam Chon received his B.S. in Engineeringഀ Science, Osaka University, March 1965, M.S. in Computer Science, UCLA,ഀ December 1967 and Ph.D in Computer Science, UCLA, September 1974. He becameഀ Professor of Computer Science Department of KAIST since 1982 (Department Chairഀ from 1985-1987). He was a visiting Professor of Advanced Network Systemഀ Architecture in Cambridge, UK from 1987 to 1988, and visiting Professor ofഀ Center for Studies of Language and Information in Stanford University, USഀ from 1994 to 95.

Prof. Zhang received her PhD degree in computerഀ science from MIT in 1989 and joined Xerox Palo Alto Research Center as a memberഀ of research staff. She joined UCLA's Computer Science Department in Januaryഀ 1996. She coined the phrase "middlebox" in 1999 which was quicklyഀ picked up by IETF and it is now used in many IETF documentations. She is currentlyഀ tackling resiliency and security issues in the Internet infrastructure, such asഀ the global routing system and Domain Name System (DNS), and the systemഀ challenges in deploying cryptographic protections in global scale open systemsഀ such as the Internet.
