AsiaFI Monthly Updates on 2010.3.1 

1.  The 3rd AsiaFI Winter School has been held in Hoam Center, Seoul National University, 2010.2.24-27.

     Identifiers in Future Internet (WIFI) as co-located with AsiaFI winter school on 2010.2.24.

    There were 64 participants including 46 students from more than 10 countries from 5 continents.
 
2 The AsiaFI board meeting and steering group meeting were held during 2010 winter school as well as various
   WG/Committee meetings. The meetings encouraged research collaboration on Future Internet.
    The AsiaFI is going to have a scheme of longer summer school and shorter winter school. There will be a
    brainstorm meeting on 2010.8.23 to discuss a better summer school program during 2010 summer
    school to make the curriculum more attractive and benefited to students by an Ad hoc Committee on AsiaFI
    School Curriculum headed by Prof. Rod van Meter.  The steering group has consensus to have a CCN/NBN 
   BoF on Content Centric Network or Name based Network. The AsiaFI board/steering group election time
    will be in 2010 June/July period.

3   The 5th International Conference on Future Internet (CFI) will be held in Seoul, 2010.6.16-18.

4   The 3rd AsiaFI Summer School will be held in Yokohama (Keio University, Hiyoshi Campus), 2010.8.23-27.
     For those students who are interested, please consider to submit paper and participate.

5  The AsiaFI steering group meeting approved to have the 2011 winter school in Hongkong, co-located
   as part of APRICOT program.  APAN will be co-located, too.
