1. AsiaFI 2009 Winter School was very successful with good presentations by the invited
   speakers as well as the good presentations by the students, most of whom are in Ph.D
   students.The participation statistics:

   AsiaFI is helping to organize the first International Workshop on Trust and Security in the Future Internet (FIST 2009), in Conjunction with SAINT 2009,Seattle, USA, July 20-24, 2009.

   AsiaFI encourages the research community in Asia to submit good papers to this workshop and participate to discuss the 
   key issues, research challenges, and potential research collaborations. The submission deadline is Feb. 28, 2009.

   The APAN-AsiaFI-AfricaAsia Joint Workshop on Future Internet for The Other Billions will be held on 2009.3.3 during
   APAN Meetings in Kaohsiung.

7  The 2nd AsiaFI School on Architecture and Building Blocks will be held in Jeju, 2009 Aug. 24-28.
