AsiaFI Monthly Updates on 2009.11.1 
 
1  The AsiaFI Steering Group Meeting was held on 2009.10.22 in Beijing/Seoul/Tokyo (by Polycom).
   The steering group approved 2011 winter school budget plan and discussed the future school plan.
   The steering group also reviewed the working groups reports and future workshop preparations. 
   Prof. CS Hong is appointed as the acting AsiaFI Finance Director (for the term 2009.11.1-2010.2.28) to
   manage the  AsiaFI funds and assists AsiaFI board to raise funds.

2. Tongji University (Shanghai) submitted a school proposal to host 2011 summer school. 
 
3.  The Future Internet Workshop will be held on 2009.11.17, co-located with ACM AINTEC, Bangkok.

4.  The 3rd AsiaFI Winter School will be held in Seoul,  2010.2.24-27. The student papers submission deadline
