AsiaFI Monthly Updates on 2008.9.1 

1. The First AsiaFI School on Architecture and Building Blocks has been successfully completed with 50 or more participants.
   We had fairly even participation from three countries; China, Japan, and Korea this time.  
   The detail report will be posted next week.
   We plan to have the second Architecture School next August to be co-located with Future Internet Summer Camp again in Jeju.

2. Africa-Asia Collaboration
    We had the second planning meeting of Africa-Asia Collaboration on network research and engineering 
    on 8.27 with the initial emphasis on network measurement(and traffic engineering) and IPv6, followed 
    by Future Internet, applications,.... The next meeting will be held in Cairo on 2008.11.2 with 
    additional meetings with some of African countries including Egypt.
